European Sustainable
Energy Week 2026

End-to-end communications and programme delivery spanning an official Policy Session, European Commission thought leadership and Energy Fair activation.

ROLE
Strategic communications, Policy Session development, programme and speaker management, editorial, creative direction, graphic design, supplier management and event delivery.

The brief

I managed the communications work around CHC’s participation from proposal through delivery, covering the Policy Session application and framing, programme development, speaker identification and management, moderator preparation, promotion, creative production and on-site coordination.

Policy Session

Plugging the gap: how to make local heating and cooling plans investable was selected as an official EUSEW Policy Session. It focused on the gap between planning and investment – and on what local authorities need to turn heat plans into projects.

I developed the successful proposal and managed communications and programme delivery, including speaker outreach and management, moderator preparation, promotion and coordination.

Thought leadership & media

Sustainable, affordable, and renewable: energy independence starts at home

The opinion piece, written for the EUSEW platform, made the case for clean heating as both an energy-security and investment priority. The final piece was edited with CHC Director Tom Vasseur before publication.

Energy Fair

The Energy Fair stand brought together a range of materials, from CHC’s colouring book, stickers and bookmarks to factsheets and campaign collateral. Among them, an illustrated piece translated CHC’s financing analysis into a comparison between the €78 billion annual clean-heat financing gap to 2050 and the €111 billion spent on European fossil-fuel subsidies in 2023. The concept and narrative were developed with Savannah Vize of Sooon Studio, whose illustrations brought the comparison to life, followed by cover design, production and print management.
